Microarray analysis, comparing wild type Saccharomyces cerevisiae and ZMS2 knockout mutant
Microarray analysis was used to help determine the role of the ZMS2 gene in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Wild type and ZMS2 yeast cultures were grown up to be used in a microarray experiment. RNA was extracted and transcribed into DNA and hybridized to a DNA microarray slide. Various forms of data analysis were performed to better understand the results of our microarrays. Through analysis, we concluded that at this point our data has very little significant value.
